Koora-Lyn Enchanted was awarded Supreme Australian Pony at the Southern Highlands APSB Stud Show.

At the tender age of 17 years Koora-Lyn Gordost, owned by Gary & Jennah Richardson, attended the Victorian Stud Show held over the weekend.  Gordost was awarded Senior Australian Pony of the Year, Champion Australian Pony Stallion, Champion Third Generation Stallion and Reserve Champion Ridden Stallion. 

Ponies by Koora-Lyn stallions also had a good weekend.  Fairlight Acres Selene by Koora-Lyn Acclaim was awarded Supreme Australian Pony with Kooyong Kismet by Koora-Lyn Kent winning Supreme Third Generation Exhibit.  Blackwood Bolshoi by Koora-Lyn Cossack won Junior Australian Pony of the Year and Reserve Champion Australian Pony Colt.  Congratulations to the owners of all these ponies.

Ponies attended Bowral Show today with Koora-Lyn Enchanted winning Supreme Australian Pony Exhibit  with  Koora-Lyn Nathaniel won Champion Australian Pony Stallion.  Koora-Lyn Epiphany was 2nd to Koora-Lyn Odette, owned by Jessica Waite and Koora-Lyn Susette, owned by Kim Gibson won the yearling filly class.

Astrid Harrisson, a famous horse photographer from the UK was in Australia during December and January to photograph Australian horses and ponies for a horse book coming out soon written by British author Tamsin Pickeral.  Astrid  spent the day taking photos of the ponies.

Alex Cross and her pony Koora-Lyn Calypso attended Bungendore Show today.  They had a great time winning Ridden APSB Gelding, Ridden 3G APSB Gelding, Child' Pony, Reserve Champion Ridden Pony Breed and Alex was second in her Girl Rider 11-15 yrs riding class.

Koora-Lyn Rosette attended Bundarra Show and was awared Champion Arabian Pony, Supreme Arabian Exhibit and Australian Pony Mare/Filly class.  (No championship was offered for Australian Pony classes).  Rosette's owner Kim Barnes is thrilled with the result.

Took two ponies to Luddenham Show today.  Koora-Lyn Nathaniel won Champion Australian Pony Stallion or Colt with Koora-Lyn Festivity winning Champion Australian Pony Mare or Filly and Supreme Exhibit.

Two ponies went to Canberra Royal today.  Koora-Lyn Cossack and Koora-Lyn Enchanted won their respective classes with Cossack being awarded Reserve Champion Australian Pony Stallion.  Lynette was very pleased with how they looked and worked.  Koora-Lyn Applause was 2nd in the Colt class and Koora-Lyn Viva was 4th in Mare 12.2-13h.  Applause & Viva are owned by Gundarimbah Stud from Parkes.

Today our beautiful Koora-Lyn Honeymoon was found dead in the paddock from a suspected snakebite.  Honeymoon was always a pleasure to do things with and a lovely mare to have around.

Gratz to Rachel Molloy and Koora-Lyn Misting after a great day at Lithgow Show. Misting won Champion Large Pony, Champion Australian Saddle Pony, Champion Led and Ridden Australian Pony. A top effort!

Jodie McLellan was pleased when her son and Koora-Lyn Image won the Open Pony 13-13.2h at Wodonga Show today. 

Three year old colt Blackwood Bolshoi, who is by Koora-Lyn Cossack, was awarded Supreme Australian Pony at Pakenham Show today.

Koora-Lyn Misting continued his winning ways at Blayney Show today.  Misting won Champion Large Pony,  Champion Led and Ridden Australian Pony and Supreme Champion Hack of Show.

At Toowoomba Royal today, Koora-Lyn Smith has been awarded Champion Australian Gelding for the third year in a row.  He was also 2nd in his ridden Australian Pony Gelding class.  The Goodchild Family are very happy with their Will.

Today at Cumnock Show Koora-Lyn Applause was awarded Champion Led Open Pony, Koora-Lyn Misting was Reserve Champion and Koora-Lyn Viva won her class.  There was no Australian Pony classes at this show.  Koora-Lyn Misting also won Champion Pony Hack. 

At the Qld APSB Stud Show today, Koora-Lyn Acclaim was awarded Supreme Australian Pony and Champion Third Generation  Exhibit.  Acclaim is pictured with his handler Sharon Nihot and judge Ruth Chittick.

Koora-Lyn Enchanted was awarded Supreme Australian Pony Exhibit at the National Pony of the Year Show today.  Koora-Lyn Cossack won Champion Stallion, Koora-Lyn Nathaniel won Champion Colt and Koora-Lyn Festivity won her class. 

Having a fantastic season in WA, another Acclaim daughter, Aryline Sugar Fairy was awarded Supreme Australian Pony Exhibit & Champion Third Generation at the WA APSB Stud Show today.

At Sydney Royal today Koora-Lyn Cossack was awarded Champion Australian Pony Stallion for the third year in succession.  Koora-Lyn Majestic, owned by Gundarimbah Stud, won Best Junior Exhibit with Koora-Lyn Nathaniel as Reserve Champion Junior.  Both Cossack and Majestic worked brilliantly for Supreme with Cossack just missing out on taking the trifecta like his grandfather, Barolin Angwyn did in 80s.

At Macksville Show Koora-Lyn Rosette, owned by Kim Barnes was awarded Champion Australian Pony, Champion Riding Pony, Champion Arabian Derivative and Reserve Champion Saddle Pony.   She just missed out on back to back Supreme Led Exhibit of Show, Kim's other pony won that award.

At Hawkesbury Show Abi Wright and her pony Koora-Lyn May Day competed in the Pony Club Assisted Beginners ring and received first for best presented and first for rider 6 and under 9 years. Mum Alaina is very happy that Abi has such a brilliant pony, considering May Day is only 2yo. Well Done Abi.

Alex Cross attended Bathurst Royal over the weekend and is proud of her pony Koora-Lyn Calypso who won the Quietest Pony, 3rd in his pony hack class, 2nd in Key Hole, 2nd Australian Pony gelding class and 3rd in his ridden Australian Pony class.  He also got 4th in another pony hack class.

At the Brookfield Australian Pony Feature Show in Qld, Koora-Lyn Acclaim won Champion Australian Pony Stallion, Champion Third Generation Exhibit and Best Purebred Head.  There was no Supreme at this show.

At the Southern Highlands & Tablelands APSB Foal & Youngstock Show today Koora-Lyn Silverlight won Champion Australian Pony Foal. Koora-Lyn Cadet won his gelding foal class. Koora-Lyn Lumina won Champion Australian Pony with Fairlight Acres Braiden, who is by Koora-Lyn Acclaim being Reserve Champion.  Braiden also won Champion Ridden.

At the Foal Show today Koora-Lyn Silverlight was awarded Champion Australian Pony with Koora-Lyn Obama awarded Reserve Champion. Obama is owned by Janine & Emma Walsh.  Arbor Acres Arthur, who is by Koora-Lyn Tishka, won the colt class.

Today Gracefield Make 'n Magic was awarded Supreme Australian Pony Exhibit at the Youngstock Show in Queensland.  She also won Supreme APSB Exhibit, Supreme Arabian Pony and Supreme Exhibit Any Other Breed.  Flicka is by Koora-Lyn Cossack out of Kingsfred Eternity and owned by Sharon Nihot.  Koora-Lyn Voo Doo (Koora-Lyn Acclaim x Koora-Lyn Bewitched) owned by Learra Radke, won Champion Australian Pony Gelding.

At Nimbin Show today Koora-Lyn Smith, owned by the Goodchild Family, won Champion Australian Pony, Reserve Champion Novice Pony Hack and won the small hunter pony class.

An update from the Northern NSW Hunter Championships, Koora-Lyn Smith won Novice Hunter Pony, Intermediate Hunter Pony, AHHA Members Hunter Pony, Small Ridden Australian Pony and Reserve Champion, second in Open Hunter Pony and a bunch of other placings.  Smith also underwent the Hunter Classification and passed!

The first foal by Koora-Lyn Nathaniel was born today, Koora-Lyn Samantha had a grey filly.  So far there are four fillies and one colt with about six more to foal.  See Foals 2011 for foal pics.  More pics to come.

It was a very busy weekend at Hawkesbury with the Australian Saddle Pony Association having their annual show plus the first All Australian Show in seven years for Australian Ponies. 

Supreme Australian Pony at the All Australian was awarded to Koora-Lyn Viva owned by Gundarimbah Stud.  Koora-Lyn Lumina won Best Junior Exhibit.

William also served as a reliable rider class mount taking Georgia to some broad sash wins throughout the season.  Next ............. a small break then a transition to a double bridle over Christmas with a return to the ring in February, competing in the Champion of Champions at the National Pony of the Year show in March, a Grand Nationals spot in 2013 and a dressage debut in 2012.  Thanks for breeding and selling us such an awesome pony.  Koora-Lyn Tyro heads to the breakers in August 2012 so looking forward to newcomers with him in 2013.
